MSM had the opportunity to document British indie band Daughter during their sold-out summer performances at the historic Troubadour in Los Angeles. Known for their haunting soundscapes and emotionally raw lyrics, Daughter’s concerts are intimate experiences that connect deeply with their audience. Our goal was to capture the electrifying energy of their live performance along with behind-the-scenes moments, creating a film that transports viewers right into the heart of the show.

Cinematography: Immersing Viewers in the Live Experience

Our cinematography focused on conveying the intense atmosphere of the Troubadour, an iconic venue with its own rich history in the music world. We used dynamic camera angles and close-up shots to highlight Daughter’s connection with their audience, emphasizing each artist’s expressions, instrumental interplay, and the crowd’s reactions.
